In the context of this marlowe pioneer program this question is irrelevant.
There is a nix-shell environment that you can use instead.
setup your Ubuntu OS
sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade -y
sudo apt install curl xz-utils -y
sh <(curl -L https://nixos.org/nix/install) --daemon
nix-shell -p nix-info --run "nix-info -m"
nix-env --version
sudo vi /etc/nix/nix.conf
# add the following content to the end of the file and save
substituters = https://hydra.iohk.io https://iohk.cachix.org https://cache.nixos.org/
trusted-public-keys = hydra.iohk.io:f/Ea+s+dFdN+3Y/G+FDgSq+a5NEWhJGzdjvKNGv0/EQ= iohk.cachix.org-1:DpRUyj7h7V830dp/i6Nti+NEO2/nhblbov/8MW7Rqoo= cache.nixos.org-1:6NCHdD59X431o0gWypbMrAURkbJ16ZPMQFGspcDShjY=
experimental-features = nix-command flakes
allow-import-from-derivation = true
sudo systemctl restart nix-daemon.service
download and startup nix-shell with marlowe tools
git clone https://github.com/input-output-hk/marlowe-cardano.git
cd marlowe-cardano
git checkout marlowe-pioneers
nix-shell
start-marlowe-run
Notice you now have a tmux multiple windows system syncing, wait for it to finish
You can find the node.socket with
sudo find / -name '*node.socket'
then setup with
export CARDANO_NODE_SOCKET_PATH=/tmp/node.socket
export CARDANO_TESTNET_MAGIC=1567
My advice is that the docker-compose solution is only working for a specific set of networks only: mainnet or testnet
These only include cardano-cli and cardano-wallet
Then you can use the binary executable files from the proper nix-shell paths that can be found here:
sudo find /nix/store -wholename '*/bin/cardano-cli'
sudo find /nix/store -wholename '*/bin/marlowe-cli'
sudo find /nix/store -wholename '*/bin/cardano-wallet'
